North American Snake Unit Study
Like all animals, snakes play an important role in our ecosystem. They are vital to maintaining a balance in the food web by keeping pest populations down and by providing food for other animals. Though snakes make many people uncomfortable, it is important we do not show our fears and act squeamish around our children. Our goal is for them to learn to appreciate and respect these fascinating creatures.
This study is meant for all ages! I've included lots of fun activities for preschool aged and elementary age students everything can be adapted for older children.
